Meet Kim, founder

Noosa was always home.

I was 15 when I chose a nail course over school camp, and I've never really looked back. I went on to work in my trainer's studio, then as a dental nurse, then as a remedial massage therapist, and later ran my own mobile massage business.

Raising my three children took me up north to Agnes Water, where I rented a little space in a hair salon doing massage, manicures, pedicures, nails and waxing. Eighteen years ago I brought it all together with a Diploma of Beauty. Within twelve months I had a home salon, and six months later my first shopfront in Quamby Place with three staff.

Along the way I became a trainer in lash lifting, brows and threading, demoed at expos, and was the first in Queensland to sugar, lash lift and use henna. My love of skin came from years of extra study, a thirst to keep learning, and helping my own teenagers with their skin.

I first moved to Noosa in 1989, and in August 2020 I opened Verve. I want every client to walk out feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and properly taken care of.
