You've tried everything. Let's find the why, then build brows that suit your face, your skin and your Noosa life.
Book a brow tattooing consult on FreshaIf you nodded at any of these, you're in good company. It's one of the most common things I hear on the beauty bed.
Brows change. Years of plucking, hormones, perimenopause, age and sun all play a part, and so does the skin underneath. Older tattoos can shift colour as pigment fades and softens over time, especially with sun exposure. Nothing you've done is wrong. It just means your brows need a plan made for you, not a stencil.
With 18 years in skin, I start with your skin and your life, not just a shape.
Your skin type.Oily, dry, sensitive or mature skin all hold pigment differently, which helps me choose between microblading and ombré powder brows.
Any past tattoo. What's there now, how old it is and how it's faded, so we know whether we can work over it or need colour correction first.
Your lifestyle. How much makeup you wear and how you like your brows day to day, soft and natural or more defined.
Sun and swimming. How often you're at the beach, in the pool or out in the sun.
Your health.Any medications, skin conditions or health changes I need to know about before we start.
We map and shape your brows together before anything begins, so you see the shape and approve it first. Then you lie back on the beauty bed while I build the colour and detail. Your brows will look stronger for the first days and soften as they heal.
For microblading, your touch up is around 4 weeks after your first session. It's a perfecting appointment: we can take the tone slightly lighter, darker, cooler or warmer, and add any strokes that didn't hold. For ombré powder brows, it's around 6 to 8 weeks after, to reinforce the colour. Everyone's skin holds pigment a little differently.
Honestly, not straight away. While your brows heal, keep them out of the ocean, pools, spas, saunas and direct sun, because water, chlorine, salt and sweat can affect how the pigment settles. Plan for 2 weeks before your first swim.
Once healed, sun is still the biggest reason brow tattoos fade early. A hat and sunscreen around (not on) your brows will help them last longer. If you have a beach holiday coming up, tell me when you book and we'll time your appointment around it.

Absolutely love my new eyebrows! Kim was fantastic, so friendly and professional, with great advice throughout the whole process. Such a pleasant experience and I’m really happy with the results. Highly recommend!
Kim did a combination brow tattoo for me just over a week ago. This includes the use of both micro blading (which I’ve had done in the past) and also a powder color. I could not be happier with the result. I did not get any of the itchy scabbing “phase” and only had one light layer peel off after about 4 days and then no more. I’m in the stage where the color by the books should be faded waiting to heal and come back and they look fantastic meaning in a few weeks they will look better.Highly recommend kim for this for anyone looking to get their brows done and drop a few years off their face!
Very happy with my last visit and the results are looking good. My three year old eyebrow tattoos were fading and needing redone. Let me say I hardly felt a thing this time, what with the new pain deadening cream Kim used. This time felt a lot easier. No one better than Kim at VERVE for your beauty treatments.
Results vary from person to person, and brow tattoos naturally soften and fade over time.
We ask you to arrive 45 minutes early so we can apply numbing cream, then use another numbing cream during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible.
It fades gradually over time, and how fast depends on your skin, sun and aftercare. Most people book a colour refresh every 12 to 18 months, or longer depending on their skin. If you have darker hair, you may find you want one sooner.
Microblading gives fine, hair like strokes; ombré powder brows give a soft, filled, made up look and can suit oily skin better. We'll choose together at your consult.
Often, yes. I'll assess it at your consult. In my experience, most older brows can be colour corrected rather than removed, so that's the gentler approach I prefer over laser removal.
